Like to work with clay? It can help Community Harvest!

Do you love working in clay? Would you like to put your talents and energy to use for a good cause?
On Saturday October 20 from 12noon-5pm the Craft Center is hosting a "100 Bowls Day" to help with the Empty Bowls Project. Empty Bowls is a national organization whose goal is to raise money for local food banks. We are planning a banquet in which community members share a simple meal of soup and bread and purchase a handmade bowl for $10. All proceeds will go to Community Harvest.

Our goal is to make at least 100 bowls on the pottery wheel for this year's banquet.
Please email Gretchen Heuges, Craft Center Coordinator, if you can help! gheuges@bucknell.edu

So Much Stuff!!!

This Monday we had so many vegetables from the garden and volunteers from numerous different groups. Thanks to Phi Psi Fraternity, Sig Ep Fraternity, DG Sorority, KKG Sorority, and So Jo Res College for helping out! We also had Jonathon Bloom, a famous food waste author, as a special guest. He was such great help. Thanks to St. John's UCC for donating some produce as well. All the help made it a wonderful Community Harvest. Thank you! Now check out all the pictures!
