As
summer winds down, the Community Harvest has been blessed with fresh and tasty
produce. This week there was an influx of peppers that we stuffed with
delicious pesto rice. Ben and Brianna started the stuffing process, resisting
the temptation to take a bite.
The fall-colored meal smelled even
better than it looks.
Ben and John chopped up the extra peppers that Ben improvised into a mouth-watering side dish full of peppers, fresh tomatoes from the Community Garden, and rice.
As soon as the meal was ready, fraternity brothers from Phi
Kappa Psi and Sigma Phi Epsilon arrived to help serve the meal, talk to the
dinner guests, and help clean up!
The end result was sixty-three happily fed dinner guests and
another successful Monday in Milton!
