Something new!
Tonight, we had spaghetti squash with our marinara sauce instead of pasta. This was something new all around, new for the patrons and new for us, as cooks. Once baked the squash becomes tender for shredding, and then you have a yummy alternative to pasta!
The squash was picked from the Lewisburg Community Garden along with some cabbage and carrots this week!

Everything is better with bacon!
The St. Andrew's Youth Group was the volunteer group this week. We created a rice, bacon, okra and swiss chard gumbo this week! The okra and swiss chard were freshly picked Monday morning from the Lewisburg Community Garden. We were able to roast some beets and other delicious vegetables!
