Do you love working in clay? Would you like to put your talents and energy to use for a good cause?
On Saturday October 20 from 12noon-5pm the Craft Center is hosting a
"100 Bowls Day" to help with the Empty Bowls Project. Empty Bowls is a
national organization whose goal is to raise money for local food banks.
We are planning a banquet in which community members share a simple
meal of soup and bread and purchase a handmade bowl for $10. All
proceeds will go to Community Harvest.
Our goal is to make at least 100 bowls on the pottery wheel for this year's banquet.
